Her eyes were blurred as her mind spun out of sheer rage. "Stop," she choked out, her entire frame shaking. "Stop trying to fix me." She flipped her hand and allowed the shards of broken glass to clatter onto the floor along with the shattered mirror. "If you break a mirror it stays broken, Leonardo." She sniffed loudly, wiping blood across her leaking nose. She stood there for a moment, fingers curling into fists, staring at the floor beneath her, waiting. For what? She wasn't sure. She didn't want to be held by him. That was a lie too. She moved towards the door, placing a hand on the frame as she turned to gaze upon his heart broken features. She swallowed harshly, not daring to make eye contact with him. "There are just some things that cannot be fixed." Her hushed whisper hung heavy in the damp air of the room. This is a TMNT (2012) fanfiction. The only amendments I have made to the original is that this version is set in Edinburgh, not New York; everything else is the same. I should also note that the main character's powers are not explained in the story and that is on purpose. Erynnis does not know how she got her powers as she has had them since birth. Thus, the audience knows as much about them as she does. But it will be explained later, worry to not; there is a logical reason for all of this! This story is about Leonardo meeting a woman named Erynnis after a fight with Raphael. She has the unexplained ability to open doors to wherever she wants in the world, provided that she has been there before and can picture it in her mind as she opens "the door". Together, Erynnis and Leonardo travel to Paris for a mere two hours- two hours that change his and her life. If you want more than I have already written, feel free to contact me!
