I know this is gonna sound weird, but one day, my whole world changed. You see, cards started dropping from the sky, coming down like rain. At first, we didn't know where they were coming from or who sent them. We only knew they were more than just ordinary playing cards. And it was happening all around the world: in the North; and the South. They landed everywhere. Together with my new online friends from around the world, we invented a wicked new game we called 'Bakugan'. That's when the power of the cards was revealed: Each one held its own battling beast which came to life when you threw it down. The battles were intense, and if you chose the wrong card, you lost it AND the beast inside. But that's only half the story: another even bigger battle was taking place in a parallel universe called Vestroia. My other talking Bakugan, a good friend... or WAS a good friend... hates me for not sending him out instead of diamond on that final battle" his face grimaced at the memory that was still fresh in his head. "We... I lost her that night.... to the Doom Dimension.. and my friend, Falcon, a venous Falconeer hasn't spoken or opened up his ball to me in those five years... I'm hoping that I can convince him to somehow go with me to the park today.." he sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair then looked up at the camera and smiled wryly. "We haven't battled in five years... I'm hoping to rise back up with his help....... and regain a name for ourselves in Diamonds honor...... Wish me luck!" The screen flickered black with a click of a button. Dangerous enemies are rising from the shadows and its up to Alex and his friends along with their bakugan partners to stop them.

A human baby but wasn't the last somehow came to Avalice. Sash Lilac finds Alex when he was a baby and raised him with love and care. Carol Neera and her sister Corazon also raised Jack, Nia, Darien, and Max. Avalice soon changed one day when cards started raining down everywhere and encountered beings known as the Bakugan. Join Alex and his friends along with their Bakugan partners as they stop dangerous enemies to defend Avalice Vestroia and the Universe.
