Modern-Day Mood Board AU: Lieutenant Leonidas Papadopoulos

Private Leonidas Papadopoulos is assigned the duty of keeping guard outside of General Cevdet's house - not necessarily for his safety, but for the safety of his daughters and wife. As time goes on, he finds that the youngest daughter is the one person in the house that he can feel comfortable around. He navigates this strange pseudo-relationship as a low-level Greek soldier, tasked with protecting a young girl who nearly has a royalty status.

After months of rotting in a Greek prison cell, Hilal is finally freed. She hasn't seen her family in what has felt like years, but realistically, has only been weeks. She also hasn't seen Leon since he left for Athens with his mother, after dealing with the grief of losing Commander Vasili. Not quite ready to face the music of her family being disappointed in her for once again getting arrested, she takes shelter in the old printing house and stumbles upon a visitor.
