Believe it or not, this poem was actually inspired by a Cartier commercial. I think it was for a gold bracelet. In any case, they made the jaguar look so mysteriously beautiful, I wanted to try my hand at putting it in writing.

Dan and Phil are Woodwalkers, they are humans that can transform into their Animal forms. Dan grew up as a human, but recently found out, that his family has kept a secret from him. He and his whole family, are Woodwalkers, to be more explicit, they are a well known Family of Snow Leopards. On the other Hand we have Phil. He grew up as an Animal, his family being Red Pandas. He knew he was able to transform into a Human, from the early age on, but since his family didn't particularly like being human, he never got to find out how it was to be one. Dan gets send to the „Walker Academy" to learn the most important things about being a Woodwalker, while Phil abandons his family to go to that same Academy. Since Snow Leopards are the only real threat to Red Pandas, the first meet up they have as animals is not Ending very well...

I'm the Alpha of a rogue pack. When I say rogues, I mean shifters shunned and thrown out of their packs for being different. Shifters are born from wolves, wolves who carry the recessive gene of a shifter and pass it on to their child. Every parent fears that their child will be a shifter. If it so happens that a shifter is born into a family, they are discarded, left on their own with slim chances of survival. Worst case scenario; that innocent child is killed and forgotten.
