MODERN AU: Kurapika and Leorio are loving and protective parents, especially of their son Killua who always seems to get in trouble. Killua always ends up hurt when he tries to let people besides his parents in, and it doesn't help that the boy he loves doesn't notice him.

Kurapika is a detective and pro hunter, while Leorio is the son of a famous doctor, who has a hidden dark background. Kurapika gets orders from his boss to figure out what his background is and to expose him, but it's easier said than done.
