Kurapika & Leorio are both from very different backgrounds. The name 'The Tents We Call Home' represents the idea that home isn't a place, but it's the people you find and the safety you create. (Many trigger warnings such as mention of SA, abuse, blood, and more as the story continues) (original Gon and Killua art doesn't belong to me!!!! only the text and party stings from Canva) This is a circus hxh AU with killugon and leopika in this story, everyone is between the ages 10-16 and are all runaways from either toxic households or just people who wanted a fresh start. Some characters might act differently than in the show. (CHARACTER STORYS) --Gon in this story was raised by Ging, and he didn't take care of Gon properly cause Ging cared more about work than Gon, and he left home at the age of 14. --Killua got abused by his parents so he could become 'stronger' and he went through many problems in his home life, he then took his sister Alluka and left at the age of 14 and Alluka 11 (Nanika is part of the story at some point) --Kurapika came home to his whole family slaughtered and left home cause he didn't have anyone or anywhere and left at the age 15 --Leorio grew up poor with his family, he left like a burden and decided to run away so his family didn't have to worry about him and ran away at 16 (not so important) --Retz left her brother to do her own thing (no trauma, I don't know her story, and i don't want to make one up) she left at the age of 13. --anita left home after her father died from an assassin. she left at 15 (she's from the 1999 hxh) --zushi was from another country, and then his father sent him away because he didn't care. he got kicked out at 11 --canary just left, no backstory, she doesn't share it. age 12 The all meet Bisky at some point who runs the circus, and he makes them all costumes (I can't find photos 😭) and they all get there rolls and preform for many people, and they all become really close. read the story to find out more (7/15/25) -#2 in hxhau (11/13/25)

It's summer! And Killua fully expects to spend it like every other: working at his family's enterprise and applying to high-class universities, in hopes to make his family proud. Until he meets Gon... Killua Zoldyck and his sister spend a day at the pool, but in doing so, a certain person's attention is caught. The moment he lays his eyes on Killua, Gon Freecss decides he wants to win him over. The only problem is, due to his job, Killua doesn't have most days free. But Gon won't give up so easily. He vows to sneak Killua out of the house on multiple occasions, promising that each night will be another incredible adventure to remember. This story is about a normal teen named gon but she makes Instagram vids with dance moves her favorite duo is the BTS love melody she loves both kurta pika and kill cat but specifically has a crush on kill cat what if a plot twist happens when she finds out that he likes her back and she has a deal to fake date him for his family fame will the family of this idol except their love or will they not find out

Killua used to be a happy boy with a happy family...but things change. It all started in 7th grade and he was never the same...he actually thought no one would want to talk to him ever again. That is until a transfer student from Whale Island comes and changes his life for ever. Killua, didn't like nature. He didn't like plants, he didn't like animals, he didn't like bugs. He didn't like fish, or being outside in general. He was 5 years old, and hated nature and its entirety. This frustrated the Zoldycks, as they literally lived in a particularly forested area. Their family was wealthy and owned a decent sized mansion as well as a lot of property, which happened to be mostly forests and there was a beautiful lake. His family loved their property, and the nature. Killua though? He hated it.

When Gon Freecss moves to York New City to be with his father, he meets many people. Many. . . different people. Class President Kurapika Kurta, Class Secretary Leorio Paladinight, and hotshot Football Player, Killua Zoldyck, along with his Cheer Captain little sister Alluka and Baseball Player sibling Kalluto. Each with secrets bigger and deeper than the last. Not to mention a mysterious transfer student with a shrouded past. But they aren't the only ones with secrets. It seems the school's hiding a huge mystery people have been trying to figure out for ages. Gon realizes this might not be as simple as he first thought.
