Aikya lived near a port, hiding out in an old shipping container she had made into something she could call home. One day, she overheard a group of thugs talking about something she had never heard of before - Hunters. Later that same day, she happened to bump into a retired Hunter, who gave her a mysterious card and told her to board the Hunter Exam ship. Coincidence? Fate? Who knows? The following night, Aikya boards the ship, where she meets a boy around her age named Gon, along with his companions. And just like that, a girl who had never even heard of Hunters finds herself thrown into a world far bigger than she could have imagined. How will her story unravel? This follows the 1999 version of the anime adaptation of Hunter x Hunter!!
