Spell Weavers is a fusion of ancient Irish myths and Chinese Feng Shui. "What if," the author mused, "a Chinese scholar and the original Spell Weaver arrived on the shores of ancient Ireland (Erin) at a time when giants and færies ruled the land and brought with her the capability to weave magic from ribbons of light?" Now, move forward to a time when the Spell Weaver's magical abilities are waning, the Ancients are seen as more myth than reality, and a group of villainous non-traditional men and women desire to rule all as the self-imposed first kings and queens of Erin. These villains, however, will do anything to destroy the old traditions, including Harm. There has always been a rivalry between leprechauns and mermaids. Now the Cintamani Stone has been found on a beach. Now there is a war between these two peoples over which side deserves to own it. Other mythological creatures have begun to take sides in the war. This story will follow the lives of different creatures on different sides throught the war. Many are young and still learning their powers, some believe in the war, and some don't. But, almost all of them want the war to end, one way or another.

Arthur is a typical young teenager who is addicted to Chemistry. Through a series of fantastical events he finds himself in the company of a crazy dog, two Filipino survivors of life , a tetchy old wizard and a disparate group of Leprechauns in Centrimo- a realm deep within the outer core of the earth. This motley group set out on a journey to the ancient city of Philoston. Here they hope to find forgotten knowledge to help them destroy the Baaw who is intent on enslaving Centrimo and invading the surface dwellers above. They find themselves beset on all sides by the minions of the evil entity and must dig deep within their hearts and minds if they are to succeed in the enormous task in front of them. The story is a combination of science, magic and drama with humorous interludes. A feature of it is the development of scientific principles to extremes, which seem plausible at first sight, but which in reality are impossible and often absurd. The story is aimed at the young teenage to adult market, and the characters are a blend of real life and fantasy. It is the development of these unusual characters, and the combination of science and magic, which makes the book different from others of its genre. It is planned as Book 1 of a trilogy.
