Growing up without a father was hard but having cancer was the worst part of Alexis' childhood. She's found the one man who she has spent her entire childhood dreaming about. The one man she wanted to look up to. Alexis graduated at age seventeen and is going to MIT once she graduated MIT she went straight to the marines just like her father. She wanted to go earlier but she got caught up in her MIT classes and visiting her father at NCIS. Alexis hasn't felt anything like the love she feels when she's around Special Agent Timothy McGee. The story doesn't follow the show but there are a few episodes I followed and they were kind of smushed together. I hope it doesn't bother you guys. Also sorry if the David and Ziva David is confusing. I DO NOT OWN THE CHARACTERS FROM THE TELEVISION SHOW NCIS. (Gibbs, McGee, DiNozzo, Todd, David, etc. but Alexis, Jeremy, Marie are mine.(not to sound possessive.)) Published 2017 Hope you guys enjoy the story.

Working as the FBI interagency liaison officer is no easy job. It doesn't really help when the other agency is...less than amenable to receiving assistance. (this is my first try at a reader insert so i apologize if it's a bit wonky 😔) edit (3/27/21): thank you all for so much love on this story!!! i'm sorry for such a stagger between chapters, but i'm working on a few things to make my writing better :)

When I told Bobby that I wanted to be a hunter, of course he thought I was insane. I mean I was a scrawny 15 year old, sitting in his passenger seat, covered in blood and declaring that I wanted to live a long lonely life of killing monsters. Yeah, Insane definitely fits the bill. Especially, since almost 9 years have passed and I'm doing just that. Well,... For the most part anyway. After meeting the Winchesters, I can safely say my life is anything but lonely. Unfortunately, that doesn't necessarily mean it'll be long either.
