*Release every friday 6pm* These are not love poems/stories They are fragments of presence. Traces left behind after a look, a silence, a message unanswered. I wrote them without knowing if anyone would ever read them and that's maybe why they feel real. Some were born from fascination. Some from longing. Others from the simple act of noticing. Poetry For Enlightenment.

Dating all the way back to the 600s BC, violets have been used as a symbol of lesbian love. The Greek poet Sappho, best known for her lyric poems about love and women, described herself and a lover wearing garlands of violets. In honor of Sappho, lesbian women in the mid-20th century would give violets to women they were wooing, indicating their 'Sapphic desire'. These are my poems about celebrating women, sapphics, and wlw. I hope you enjoy.
