Alexandra Bara was the rising author, with her debut novel 'If I Die Tomorrow' capturing the heart of its reader and the critics as well. Life was finally looking up for Alexa, at least professionally speaking. She loved her job, except the part where she had to actually go out and promote the books. Her agent didn't care if she was allergic to any kind of social outing, Alexa had to do at least one promoting event. Knowing that she didn't have much choice, she picked the lesser evil one. LGBTQ+ in Media actually sounded interesting. Maybe Alexa could meet someone there. Who knows right? Cassandra Evans couldn't be more excited about this awesome event, LGBTQ+ in Media. What's there not to like? A paid vacation for one week with her best buddies. Sure, she would be the third wheel, well maybe fifth or seventh wheel to the other couples.
