A collection of Ancient Greek poetry by Sappho, scoured from all corners of the internet and compiled into a single book. *** Sappho is among the canon of the Nine Lyric Poets, who are held in high regard by the scholars of Hellenistic Alexandria. She was born in Mytilene on the isle of Lesbos. Her poetry often sung in praise women and were somewhat homoerotic, hence the words "lesbian" and "sapphic". Though little is known of the poetess herself, what remains is her work, albeit fragmented.
