Every 8 Days she goes to see her best friend, Spot, the "King of Brooklyn". Everything seems to be going pretty normal until one day when she and her brother, Jack, start a strike against "The World". But what happens when memories of her past starts to resurface? PLEASE READ THE REWRITE OF THIS. IT IS TITLED THE SAME BUT THE COVER IS DIFFERENT. Thank you! It's a year after the strike. Spot and Race have been dating now for a while and are happy together. But like every couple, nothing is perfect. The two have a huge fight and Race leaves, saying he's going to clear his head. But when Race doesn't come back the next day, Spot gets worried. He and the Manhattan newsies team up to find Race. When they do, Spot is caught in a problem and its deal to get out of it is worse than any soaking. Will they get Race back for good? Or will Spot never forgive himself for falling short?

Excerpt Davey wanted to be angry. He wanted to hate her. After all, he had every reason to. After what happened a year ago, he should've slammed the door in her face without a second thought. But he didn't. Because the second he saw her, everything he felt a year ago came rushing back.

Under editing I follow the storyline of the 2017 Broadway Musical. The strike is over and everything turns out the way they wanted... or not. Snyder managed to escape somehow and together with some familiar faces he's determined to bring down Jack at all costs. (I'm terrible at this... so sorry. If my English isn't really correct, I'm sorry but I'm dyslexic and English isn't my native language.) ⚠️Contains abuse and maybe more that I don't know yet. (Author note: this is a sequel to my first Newsies story, "I Never Planned on This". I would suggest reading that one first, because I am going to be talking about events that happened in that story that weren't in the show, so it may be confusing if you don't read that one first. that being said, here's the sequel:) Years after Kennedy came to New York and tortured the Newsies (mainly Henri and Davey), The Wall is now gone, and so is the warden. But as some things go, new things tend to come. Jack and Katherine have now moved back to New York, with Jack drawing for the papers as well as occasionally selling them. Pulitzer's been off of the Newsies' tails ever since Jack threatened to put him out of business. But when eight-year-old Allen and six-year-old Katie enter the picture, Pulitzer suddenly wants to be involved in their lives, as in sending them both to boarding school, as he sent Katherine to until she turned seventeen, when he allowed her to return to New York. Jack and Katherine refuse, as they want their children to grow up around New York, and learn streetwise and schoolwise. But Pulitzer, being the stubborn man he is, refuses to help pay for the children's schooling unless Katherine and Jack allow him to send them to boarding school, even though it's technically their choice. As Jack begins to go in debt to Pulitzer and Katherine is always on her feet to support her family at her job in The New York Sun, the Newsies may be their only chance at keeping Allen and Katie in New York. Will Greedy and Entitled Pulitzer win again, or will Jack and Katherine's dream of raising a family in New York be able to become a reality? (Author Note: Just like in I Never Planned on This, some characters will be girls rather than boys. Please understand that I feel it contributes more to the story, and I hope it doesn't upset anyone. Racetrack seems to consider her more than a friend, and the Delancey brothers most certainly don't consider her a friend at first, but her life seems to have changed for the better. But, when the Delancey brothers find out her secret, she knows that her newfound relationships may very well be in danger, and so is Racetrack . How far will Blitz go to keep her secret?

I need to share all this Les and Davey and hopefully someone will be inspired to write something else so I'm not alone with my feelings :(
