This story is a continuation of the beloved book/movie Bridge to Terabithia. {Spoilers for Bridge to Terabithia from here on out} This book takes starts a week before the one year anniversary of Leslie Burke's death. I am going to use IHateSnakes logic here and say that the date of her death is April 5, 2007, making this book start on March 30th, 2008 (Fairly relevant date to me as well). Do not worry, this will all be explained in the book (along with subtle IHateSnakes and ElleFred references). Anyways, hope you enjoy this book, please leave a review, helps me grow as a writer and plan out the next chapters. Changes: Time period changes from one week to one year after Leslie's death, gives me more room to work with and is probably more accurate to the book. Also, slight revisions to Chapters 1, For Sale, and Chapter 2, Old Goodbyes Lead to New Hellos. These changes are not major per say, just noteworthy. Edit: Chapter 3 guys! Finally!

Remember that book you read in middle school, Bridge To Terabithia? The one that started out as just a lighthearted coming-of-age story and then all of a sudden, BAM! The lovable Leslie Burke drowns to death while Jesse Aarons is looking at some art with his crush, Ms. Edmunds. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 book. Well I wrote a short epilogue/bonus chapter for it a couple years ago, and wanted to share it here. Enjoy!

Leslie's supposedly death shook all over Jess' nerves, not knowing the truth that has yet to be told. This is a platform for Jess' new running start, before he thought he had reached the finish line, crowning MayBelle as the new queen and building the bridge to the fantasy land Terabithia, Jess thought this was the final moment he could share with Leslie, up in the Heavens. Little did they know....... the original queen has walked the red carpet and back into life.

Her and Jess are in high school and he's been busy with art sports and a job. You and Leslie have gotten close. It's your birthday and she gives you the best surprise.
