Paris, 1832. Amélie has spent her life watching the poor suffer while the wealthy look away. Born into privilege but devoted to the people, Enjolras lives only for the revolution. To him, Amélie is reckless, infuriating, and a distraction from the cause. To her, he is arrogant, stubborn, and far too willing to decide who deserves to fight. As Paris marches towards rebellion, so do their hearts. What begins as resentment slowly becomes admiration, then love- but revolutions demand sacrifice, and love offers no protection from fate. When the barricades finally rise, Amélie refuses to stand aside. Together, she and Enjolras make their final stand, fighting not only for the France they dream of, but for one another, until the very last shot is fired.
