The streets were in complete and utter chaos. People were screaming and running about, and furniture was tumbling from the windows like a violent hailstorm. He could hear the people sing, but his heartbeat was not echoing the drums. He had an important decision to make. He knew that his choice would be the difference between life and death. Or maybe he would die either way. This is the tale of Babet, a side character in Les Misérables. You will meet his younger brother, who opposes him during the revolution. This story involves tragedy, death, and evil. It follows a man's evolution from an innocent child to a foul thief. Enjoy! Credit to @findingclaquesous on Tumblr for the cover art.

She grew up on the streets. He grew up in a palace. How can two paths converge? He was ignorant and afraid to love or care, but one interaction changed everything. She was afraid and anxious, but one relationship taught her to be brave. Can two broken souls perfect the other? Read to find out. I don't own Les Misérables.

Enjolras knows it's the end of the line when his friends have all been killed and he alone remains, standing defiant against the National Guard. He was prepared to die for his friends and countrymen. Of course, he was joined by Grantaire in his last moments, holding his hand as they were both shot. Enjolras knew he was dead. That was, until he wakes up in a bed that is not his, in a room that is not his, and in a time period that is definitely not his. His old friends are alive and well, but Enjolras seems to be the only one who remembers their failed revolution. Or: Enjolras is shot at the barricades on that day in 1832, but wakes up in the future with no memorizes of a life there.

Anna, Marius' cousin runs away from home and finds herself in the ABC cafe 1 month before the barricades arise. Soon she becomes one of the most known people there with her humor. But she does something, that she doesn't mean to. She breaks the leader of the revolution. Enjolras thought the only the ever loved and will love is the freedom of France. But when she comes, he is not so sure.....

'Anyone who knows me knows about my obsession with Les Misérables. In my opinion, it's the best musical of all time. Sometimes I wish I could be a part of it. Obviously, I don't mean the actual revolution, I'm not naive. But at least they had something to fight for. I wish I had something to fight for.' Somehow, young (Y/N) (L/N) finds herself in the middle of her favourite musical. Most people would think this was a dream come true, however for (Y/N) it most certainly wasn't. Of course she's fascinated by this place, however, she would never choose to be here. Now, she is trapped in 19th-century France. To make matters worse, her father is Inspector Javert meaning she will have to work 1000x harder to get the Les Amis de l'ABC to trust her.

"I-" Enjolras' face is a mask of genuine confusion. It's captivating. Grantaire turns away. He can't do this. He had prepared for the disaster that would be the "Why Are Meetings In a Place With an Open bar a Bad Idea" discussion. He wasn't, <i>wasn't</i> prepared for <i>this.</i> There's a reason Grantaire doesn't go to the Les Amis meetings anymore. His abstinence is only part of it. ――― I needed a positive character growth for Grantaire. With this oneshot, I'm giving it to him. This is a meant as a study of "what would have to happen to set R on a better life path" and you can see I have a lot of feelings on the matter. Not only the alcohol addiction stands in Grantaire's way of making something of his life - his view of the world, his obsession with Enj and his own struggles with mental health are also important factors. Not the last time I checked, no. Am I French? Well, a little, but for the most part, no. Did I write Les Misérables? Let's put it this way: If I did, things would have ended much, much differently. Did I write The Hunchback of Notre Dame? If I did, Disney would have changed so much more to make it kid-friendly. By these circumstances, you should in no way, shape, or form confuse me for Victor Hugo.

Enjolras is a young student activist, Grantaire is a liberal arts major. One day they meet. I'm sure you can guess where things go from there. No clue who the art belongs to (I tried, I swear), so message me for credit and it shall be given.

August 1832. Paris, France. Pontmercy and all the others are dead, except for Enjolras and Grantaire. Grantaire gave up and left the barricade early, and Enjolras was wearing Valjean's army uniform, giving him camouflage. Enjolras has been dealing with survivor's guilt.

Grantaire's life changes when his eyes met the brightest star in all of Paris. Just when things start to feel dark, Enjolras steps into Grantaire's little spark of light that is left. He makes Grantaire believe in things he never believed in before. He gives R a safe space. It's Enjolras who is saving Grantaire... But he doesn't know about the sceptic's feelings about him... until now.
