How am I supposed to die at the barricades when I see my future in your eyes? Love had never been in the cards for Enjolras. He could never take his eyes away from his beloved Patria for long enough to notice women around him. At least, that was the case until the sapphire eyes of a woman from a cabaret began to consume his every thought. I am not Victor Hugo. I do not own any of the characters from Les Misérables.

Enjolras had never been the best at interacting with people one-on-one. He thrived when speaking in front of groups or when giving speeches, not when talking to someone face to face. He's never really known why individual interaction has always gone terrible for him or why he's far more likely to lash out, it just is. He usually isn't even aware of how much he can hurt people without meaning to. He's starting to learn, though, and he wants to get better.

Grantaire had never been to Pride and he had never particularly wanted to. He thought the entire concept wasn't one that he agreed with. This opinion wasn't an easy one to have when surrounded by people who were all heavily invested in the Pride spirit. Grantaire loves his friends and he would do anything to support them, so he allows himself to be dragged along to his first ever Pride with Les Amis. Will they ever discover that a female is the one behind the heated essays about the overthrow of monarchy?
