Enjolras knows it's the end of the line when his friends have all been killed and he alone remains, standing defiant against the National Guard. He was prepared to die for his friends and countrymen. Of course, he was joined by Grantaire in his last moments, holding his hand as they were both shot. Enjolras knew he was dead. That was, until he wakes up in a bed that is not his, in a room that is not his, and in a time period that is definitely not his. His old friends are alive and well, but Enjolras seems to be the only one who remembers their failed revolution. Or: Enjolras is shot at the barricades on that day in 1832, but wakes up in the future with no memorizes of a life there.

Grantaire's life changes when his eyes met the brightest star in all of Paris. Just when things start to feel dark, Enjolras steps into Grantaire's little spark of light that is left. He makes Grantaire believe in things he never believed in before. He gives R a safe space. It's Enjolras who is saving Grantaire... But he doesn't know about the sceptic's feelings about him... until now.

A Les Miserables imagine for fans of the movie.

Enjolras had never been the best at interacting with people one-on-one. He thrived when speaking in front of groups or when giving speeches, not when talking to someone face to face. He's never really known why individual interaction has always gone terrible for him or why he's far more likely to lash out, it just is. He usually isn't even aware of how much he can hurt people without meaning to. He's starting to learn, though, and he wants to get better.

Grantaire always knew that he wasn't good enough for Les Amis. It just hurt to have proof.

A Les Miserables Fanfiction Alix had always had a pretty good life. One day, something horrible happens and she is left on her own.  A man called Inspector Javert finds her and takes her in. Several years later, she finds an old friend while wandering the streets, and he introduces her to the Les Amis. Soon, she joins their little rebellion. But what if the whole time, she is slowly falling in love with the boy who had been her childhood best friend? And what if her adoptive father, whom she had always got along with so well, decides he doesn't want his little girl to be anywhere near this boy? Sorry, I'm pretty bad at descriptions. Anyway, this is based of of the broadway version, not the movie, or the book. Also, I haven't read "The Brick" so I am really sorry if I get someone's backstory or some detail of the story wrong.  Anyways, I really hope you enjoy this story!!!! Also in 'Archive of our own' on my sister's account 'HellenwithtwoL's' Modern AU, YOUTUBE universe Grantaire is one of the most subscribed people on YouTube, and basically gets paid for making a fool out of himself in front of a camera. Enjolras is a more political YouTuber, who basically makes jokes out of how fucked up the world is. When these two finally meet, it doesn’t take them long to connect.

Jehan has worked hard to recover as much as they have. They just hope it's enough to help other people.
