You met Dan in College and became close friends, even dropped out at the same time as him because of overwhelming stress, and your Depression and Anxiety. Your parents won't take you back in because they're abusive and always have been, so you have no where to go. That is until Dan saves you and takes you in. At his place you met Phil and instantly there's something about him that makes you fall in love. Phil and you bond immediately and he promises to help you through your depression and other problems, no matter how hard it may be.

Dan and Phil are on tour in the US but Phil gets lonely and has nightmares without Dan, so one night he goes into Dan's room looking for comfort.

After you get a break from your job on Halloween, you decide to enjoy the time alone at your house watching scary movies. You didn't want to hand out candy anyway, nobody came to the door. But once you hear the doorbell, you can't help but answer it.

Dan had no one, there wasn't even a point to pretend to be someone else. everyone already knows who he is. he is just gonna end it all. his dad wouldn't care. he never does anyways. he smokes to calm his nerves. he's so down his hair is loosing color and is a faint grey no matter how many times he dyes it brown it's always tainted with smoke and turns grey again. he has no dreams. those were destroyed and rendered over with when he was three.
