"I will never yield to you," Charles said before Max smashed his lips against his own. He let out a surprised grunt as his hands gripped the Dutchman's hair tightly before reciprocating the kiss. When Charles joined Ferrari, he had only one clear goal in mind. He would do everything in his power to get ahead of Max Verstappen. What he hadn't expected was that his world would start turning upside down the closer he got to the Dutchman. Which was way closer than he ever thought he would get. ****** "Then choose to act differently," Charles said softly as he rubbed his thumb over the side of Max's knee. Max nodded slowly as he turned his head to look at the Monegasque. "What do I need to do?" Max asked, tone of voice hopeful. Max hadn't expected that Charles, who had once been his rival, would be able to change everything he knew about their friendship in a matter of weeks. Soon, Max found himself questioning everything he'd ever known. Not only about their bond, but also about himself.

So basically the story is about Charles who LOVES listening to music. He always has his headphones in, he is a driver for Ferrari in this book and it's 2026. So Charles had never been in love with a man before, or felt any feelings towards one. (Do you get where this is going?) But recently he was running through the paddock and wasn't looking where he was going and bumped into someone. Guess who.. MAX! And Charles had his headphones in, Charles looks up from the ground and sees a hand, he looks up even more to see max smiling down at him with his hand reached out to help him. And then... the song ends and switches to careless whispers by George Micheal... and continue from there.

"What are you doing?" Pierre asked in English, finally snapping Charles out of whatever haze he was stuck in. "Hm? Listening to you?" Charles looked up to meet his best friend's eyes and immediately heard the thought that followed. *You were very clearly ogling Max just now.* Charles's eyes widened. "I did not!" he said, voice cracking as his ears turned red. Pierre only grinned wider. *Oh calamar, you think I haven't noticed you staring at him since you got the superpowers.* Or the one where Charles can read minds, and Max's thoughts ruin everything (or fix everything).

Charles dreamt of being a racer all his life but being an omega didn't allow him to race. And so he hid his reality. He faked being an alpha making it to the world of racing. The f1 grid (specificly Daniel ofcourse) is looking for some amusement, and decides to add two random numbers in the group chat. That way the two besties Maeve and Megan ends in that group chat. They talk for a bit and so the group finds out that the two are formula 1 fans. How will this end, will it end in some new friendships and maybe even romance? F1, F2, and F1 Acedemy (Sorry, I don't know the F3 grid very well so I decided to not add them)

To the world, Charles Leclerc is the sun. To Max Verstappen, he's a high-profile headache he doesn't have time for. English not being my first language makes it pretty hard to write these, but hoping it is capable of reading.
