Finding the prompt online whilst Sherlocking, I decided to write this story.
PROMPT: Lestrade's off to talk to a key witness who lives outside of London. Since it really is too far for a cab, Sherlock for once agrees to ride in his car. John, of course, comes too.
There's nothing worse than having a bored Sherlock with you on a drive.
I'd just like a road trip scene/character piece, please. What music do they listen to? What do they talk about? Do they trade stories about themselves? About Sherlock (knowing he's listening in disgust)? How do they try to keep Sherlock's mind occupied so they don't have to strangle him? Think "buddy road trip," where one "buddy" is, well.... Sherlock.
Note: This is written as if it was off John Watson's blog.
