Forced by Mycroft, DI Lestrade must work undercover for the British government, in order to uncover a spy. After months of animosity, will Lestrade and Mycroft realise how they actually feel? Mystrade, with some Johnlock.

John gets shot on a case and may not survive. Sherlock freaks out, having a panic attack at the scene of the shooting and refusing to leave John's side once he's out of surgery and in the hospital. Donovan and Anderson continue their relentless bullying of Sherlock, and Lestrade, Mycroft, and John have had enough. Slight AU where Anderson is still an asshole after The Fall. Angst, Hurt/Comfort, Family.

John has only a year left to live. The news leaves Sherlock distraught and broken, but Sherlock makes a vow to make the last year of John's life the best year he's ever had. This is Sherlock's last vow.

Anna’s secret meetings, ex-husband and older brother all affect the lives of those in 221 Baker Street, but will Sherlock be able to figure out the truth of his new neighbour before his roommate has gotten too deep? Let's just say that learning that caring is not an advantage is not a pleasant lesson and if it's happening to you over and over again is enough to make a man insane.
