Eloise Potter was at the end of her fifth year at Hogwarts when the ministry accepted the truth that Voldemort was back. It had taken them a year. A year Voldemort had to prepare and rally his followers. A Year that Eloise, The Order, and The Ministry didn't have. However, it became clear that even with that extra year, Voldemort wasn't prepared enough. The Order and The Ministry didn't want to deal with a desperate dark Lord. Lord Voldemort didn't want to lose. So in the fall of Eloise's sixth year a peace summit was held. The only requirement that Voldemort or rather Tom Riddle, gave for his surrender was that they give Eloise's hand in marriage to him.

The concept is a little complicated to explain, especially without just explaining the whole plot, but I'll do my best: Basically, in France the Wizarding World is ruled by a Wizarding King rather than a Minister of Magic. Rabastan Lestrange marries into the family and has children who are Lestranges, but also Princes and Princesses of the French Wizarding World. This story follows his children, specifically his youngest daughter Arabella Lestrange, and her journey through her years at Hogwarts.

Their love lit too quickly and forcibly fizzled out, she has a duty, and he has morals. What will happen when she needs his help and he turns away? What happens when her identity is forcibly revealed? What happens when she's forced to become part of something she doesn't want to?
