A short short story

16-year-old Nicole is almost entirely blind without her glasses. On her way to the mall to reunite with a good friend from her childhood, Jake, they fall off her face and get crushed by a car. Because she can't see, she rams over Toby who happens to look almost identical to Jake. She thinks that Toby is Jake. Toby decides to pretend to be Jake because, well, Nicole isn't exactly ugly. Nicole being completely oblivious without her glasses, Toby tries to keep it this way. Through the blurry lines, Nicole starts to find some things fishy, but Toby is head over heels. There's only one way this can go..

I write about things that have happened to me and my feelings

A girl who has always been let down by men, her father,brother, every guy she has ever met. So her mother wants her to go make new friends and try to let loose, and forces her to move with her to California. How will she react to her new beach house? How will she react to a guy and his friends so sure they have to be her friend? How will she react to slowly falling in love? How will she react to a new school. And worst of all, how will she learn to love and trust everyone around her? If you want to find out, read this book! Sometimes even a little devil can get you out of tough situations

I care so much about people and my relationships and my friendships that they fall apart when I try my hardest to save them. I run people off with how needy I am or with how quickly I trust them, telling them my life story. The feeling of rejection is absolutely the worst, yet, most common feeling I deal with.

Betrayal can take many forms, Not always of the heart, Sometimes a friend can let you down And tear your world apart. To feel the pang of loneliness When someone turns away, Instead of coming to your side To help you,come what may, Is something I have rarely felt, But sadly feel today. Perhaps a trusted colleague, For reasons never clear, Decides to throw you to the wolves, An outlet for their fear, It damages,destroys and wrecks Your self- belief,your trust, You vow revenge or just move on, Do something, act, you must, To save a little of yourself, While others,relieved,sigh, Knowing the chaos they have caused, But for the grace of God go I. Betrayal is a harsh,cold world, Where most of us will meet Someone who'll deal the cruellest blow, Whose nature can't compete With human kindness,friendship,faith, So chooses to sink deep Into the mire of saving self, At someone's cost,so cheap. A world I hope to soon escape And hold my head up high, With eyes set on the way ahead, I must not, must not cry.
