This is a free verse poem .It's compared to a prison which is home / parents in an extended metaphorical way . It shows how it have been hard for me with strict parents , or being the target since I'm oldest daughter

"Let me live" is a poem about any person who wants to live his/her life on her/his own.He or she doesn't want to do that the world force him/her to do. He or she has her/his own dreams, ways , and different point of view about life and it's aspects and doesn't want to copy anyone or anybody (to follow the crowd).

*This is sort of a oneshot in two parts hehe* Hazel Wright, a 20 years old bookseller discovers a little secret about her boyfriend. When the boyfriend realized that Hazel knew he quickly did something to Hazels best friend Roger that makes Hazel worried. How are Hazel gonna solve this without hurting her or her friend?

Life was hard before the show but at least I was able to live my life with out the pressure of the world. The show definitely changed my life, but I'm still deciding if it was for better or worse. The fans are great but sometimes they don't know when to mind their own business. Constantly worrying about things that don't pertain to them. Sometimes I think everyone forgets I'm still young and learning. I know I'm going to make mistakes and I wish it wasn't publicized but I guess that's what come with fame but sometimes I wish they would just LET ME LIVE. This is a fictional story about Deetranada's life after The Rap Game and what she will have to battle with daily.

I typed the first thing that came to mind. Usually I sit and stress over the perfect line for a poem so doing this is something I'd like to do more often. I think my poems turn out better this way.

I'm not a prisoner. But I want to be a symbol of freedom. I'm not the moon. But I want to shine bright in the darkness. I'm not a flower. But I want to blossom and spread the essence. I'm not a bird. But I want to fly high, beyond the limits. Oh! To the forces who let me down; Let me live. Let me fly. I'm not a prisoner. I want to explore the sky.
