Kai hasn't seen Cinder in awhile, so he plans a surprise visit for her birthday. Unfortunately, when both of them are sovereigns of a country, surprise parties are a little difficult. Tris has just joined Four in the Elite group of dauntless, but before she could train much the Erudite throw another curve ball at all of the other factions. Unexpected allies between the factions form, and suddenly it didn't really matter which faction you came from. Meanwhile Levana and Jeanine scheme up a plan to anialate Candor, Amity and Abnegation. Winter is also having weird dreams and plans to find a way to stand up to Levana.

Fed up with Levana staying at his palace, Prince Kai asks Cinder to help him prank Levana, and a few things are revealed in the process. SHORT ONE-SHOT.
