Everything before that will have no hint of her accent because I didn't know better. I base a large portion of my portrayal to what the game did, along with some of my own research, but it's never quite concrete. My little headcanon is that the change of his hair is just the light; I think with later fanfics I'll have everyone else see the change between Al and Fendi as his eyes glassing over or something like that!
