And as the war rages on between the Clankers and Darwinists, we come to see just how involved our hero and heroine, were involved in the secret side of the victories the allied powers achieved. This is an epilogue of lengthy proportions, as we see the lives of Alek and Deryn as they grow together in the shadows of one of the most significant wars of the century.
