Riley from a small town in Wisconsin moves to LA with her mom and problematic dad. Everything starts out bearable, but once she meets one boy things begin to get a little complicated. Finding new friends, and possibly a relationship, things start to look up. However it all starts to crumble when Riley's dad threatens to move back to their old small town and force Riley to leave her new town and friends, when he finds out about the boy around the corner.
