-Modern College AU/ coffee shop au -Levi Ackerman has lived his whole life in Japan with his uncle Kenny, but after his uncle robs him and leaves him with no money he's left with no choice but to move to the United States to live with his rich aunt uncle and cousin as he attends college. Levi hates the feeling of not having to work for anything so he picks up a job at the local Starbucks. He knows everything is going to be chaotic as soon as the semester starts since he'll be living with a stranger, juggling classes, his job and homework, but he hopes he can power through it all. Levi feels like his chances at powering through the year have vanished when he meets his roommate, Erwin Smith. Levi had never had a positive encounter with the blonde boy, and now he's stuck living with him. -Erwin Smith really hates living at home, so when the opportunity to stay in the college dorms while he attends scout regiment university arises he jumps at the opportunity. He's happy he made the choice... until he meets his roomie. His roomie being Levi Ackerman, the dark and rude alt guy from Japan. Levi's bad attitude isn't exactly the problem though. The problem is that Erwin has found him unnervingly attractive from the moment they met and he isn't sure how long he can hide it. Levi , a young Japanese boy who was born in japan was left by him self when his parents died in a horrific accident. with out his parents to guid him from the darkness of the underworld that was Japan he felt alone. Everyday was a fight to live having no family, home or relatives to take him in; fighting was his only chance to change his world. he was starving barely alive until a young male named Kenny took him in, Even though he was still in japans underworld kenny taught him how to fight, be sly, steal and even kill when necessary. once Kenny got enough money for Levi and him to be smuggled into New York things started to change, they were barely out of the underground they started to feel safe until Kenny left Levi to fend for him self Just like his parents. Levi entered into a high school with little English but when he bumps into a young man a year older than Levi with blond hair combed back ; at his new school how will Erwin bring Levi into the light and out of the lonely darkness will it be with force or will Levi accept it.
