Hange Zoe is not any typical mermaid: she has a big fascination with humans. Despite the many warnings she was told about them, that didn't stop her from wanting to know everything about the humans. One day, she decided to venture far out into the sea, and comes across a human unlike any she'd seen before. Hange finds herself awestruck by this human, the short but strong Captain Levi, and what will happen when these two creatures meet face-to-face, despite their differences and species?

Urbex : Urban exploration of abandoned buildings. Pieck makes a string of typical student struggles. Money, deadlines, rent, driving licence, course guidance... What allows her to breath and take a break is urbex sessions, usually with Porco. Wandering through deserted buildings with her camera always feels like a time capsule which saves her from daily stress. One day, in old barracks, Pieck finds a correspondence hidden for years, written by a man called Levi. She has no idea how old those letters are, and when Levi wrote it. But as she reads it, she understands two things : first, those letters are love letters. And second, in days gone, Levi and his so-called "Four-Eyes" were robbed of their story. So Pieck takes a decision.

Levi's lover deals with many thoughts in the early morning, after they had both finally let down their guards and let someone in. Thoughts of him, their relationship, love, life, regret, and what the world needs, demands, & what it will take. (This can be read as an x reader as an original character, OR whoever you ship with Levi. I intended this to be a part in a longer fanfiction that would have chapters and such, so it was originally written for an oc or x reader (I hadn't decided which) but I never can motivate myself to write, and I wasn't sure anyone would be interested. But I think/hope it works for all ships as well! <3)

The Battle of Shingashina brought many deaths, too much grief and realizations. Hange Zoe was alive and Levi almost lost her that day.
