"And in the days of the Second Fall,
when hollow crowns heed shadow's call,
two heirs shall rise beneath the Light,
from Eden's root to face the night."
The Seven Aethrian Kingdoms were once bound beneath the Covenant of Aethru, the First Voice from whom all life was spoken into being. But as kingdoms grew proud and hearts drifted from the Light, corruption spread not first through war, but through the soul.
While hollow kings rise, sacred fires dim, and the cursed realm of Sodorrah stretches its shadow across the world, an ancient prophecy begins to awaken.
Thalion of Edenath, heir to a dying age, bears a burden foreseen long before his birth: to walk willingly through suffering for the salvation of the kingdoms.
Rosethra, his sister, the wandering princess fleeing the chains of destiny, will discover that mercy may heal what swords never could.
And Sethorin, the scarred king of Calvethar, must learn whether strength without love can truly save anyone at all.
For not by sword shall kingdoms stand.
And Light shall rise beyond the Fall.
