Salvem a Lussa!

Tommy and Logan visit another universe where there Is a very similar but slightly different planet to Earth. They visit this planet in Tommy's bottom-of-the-garden-spaceship travelling through Time and Space and Dream. For fans of the Four Playing Card Suits (who also appear in some of my other novels, such as METAFICTION), this is where they were first discovered! Perhaps this quartet resembles a cross between Narnia, Enid Blyton's Faraway Tree books, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time-and golden age science fiction. Definitely cross-over material with young readers and adults (some Pure Maths undergraduate proofs given--some blatant). There is a huge amount of mathematical and philosophical depth hidden beneath the adventurous skin of the novel. Inspirations run deep, but there is a definite feel of Enid Blyton and Lewis Carroll about this novel. BRITLAND CALLING is a quartet at just over 175,000 words divided into 4 Books of about 45 K each. Book 3. The Four Playing Card Suits of the BRITLAND CALLING quartet is a 47,300 word sci-fi book by T. J. P. Campbell divided into 18 chapters. It is a proof-read pre-published version with good grammar and punctuation. The published version has a style improvement. Amazon at present does not allow the published versions to be read on other publishing systems. Minimal images included for speed of reading on phones and laptops. Soon to be published in 2020. This novel is completely original.

Harry Dodgson was never very comfortable with his life and magically being transported to another world certainly did not help. Scared and confused Harry tries to figure out the secrets of this new world and get back to his old one. However, as it becomes clear that Harry can transport himself between the two worlds and that this new one has so much to offer him, Harry is faced with a decision. Should he leave or stay in this Wonderland and what will be the consequences to each? Based on Lewis Carroll's nonsensical tale of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, this story will open up the hidden secrets of Wonderland at its core and bring you along for the ride. I do not own the cover or any characters that appear in Lewis Carroll's books.

This is a short story (work in progress) of my rendition of Alice in Wonderland (my favorite books ever) of when Alice, now an adult accidentally falls down the rabbit hole (again) where everything has changed and Wonderland is looking across the land for a new ruler to renew the wasteland it has become. After going back and remembering all those she met there as a child she creates new friendships with those of the past and present and as an adult perceives things differently - but how differently and will these affect her in her new adventure in Wonderland. Come and join me in my story-telling, fall down the rabbit hole and get lost in wonderland too. Copyright Notice: The moral right of the author has been asserted. All rights reserved. Heartless, Marissa Meyer. Queen Catherine of Hearts was ruthless and cold-hearted. Trading her broken heart to the Fates in exchange for revenge, the innocent girl who just wanted to start a bakery with her maid friend is lost, and all that remains is an empty girl. Or perhaps she is not empty, but overflowing with anger and revenge and vengeance, or perhaps that is all she can remember anymore and she truly is empty, running on mimicked emotions that she can't actually feel. She is Queen, now, and Jest is long dead. Peter Peter's corpse hangs from the castle's gates. A reminder to all to never forget Her Majesty's wrath. Jest watches, hopeless and helpless. He can do nothing but watch the girl he loved transform into a monarch, his friends transformed into a murderer and a madman. A Queen, an executioner and a mad hatter. There is no escaping fate, nor the Queen of Hearts' wrath. Welcome to Wonderland.

"Closed in a room, my imagination becomes the universe, and the rest of the world is missing out." -Criss Jami "I never have found the perfect quote. At best I have been able to find a string of quotations which merely circle the ineffable idea I seek to express." - Caldwell O'Keefe "Where's your will to be weird?" -Jim Morrison Basically, I thought I'd share my quote stash with you readers! They have cheered me up throughout my life when I was down and depressed after finding out I had a deadly health issue, along with giving me hope during my many, many surgeries. Some of the other quotes/sayings gave me the courage to go through the hardest times when I was almost certain that I couldn't. I'll be posting quotes/sayings from (and giving them all credit, of course)- Fandoms Artists of all kinds painters, singers...etc Movies Books (Possibly) Songs And more! Note 📝: I know this says It's "In Progress", And it is. It may never end! Doesn't mean I'm not updating. I'm constantly finding quotes and piling them up for the future to post on here. Important Notice: If your favorite quote isn't in a chapter, feel free to let me know through a PM or a Comment and I'll add it in that specific chapter, also let me know if you'd like me to add your name below it... My valiant attempt at being Shakespeare... kinda :) Sonnets of all genres, come one, come all! Not the typical high-falooting, old English, love obsessed sort (though to be fair, I love those sorts, so there may be one or two :)), but just "well made verbal objects" for your reading enjoyment. I will note that some of these poems appear in my other collections, I just decided to also group all my sonnets together, more for myself to keep track, but also if you want to read by style, rather than by genre. Enjoy the food!

The Nursery "Alice" (1890) is a shortened version of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865) by Lewis Carroll - adapted by the author himself for children "from nought to five". It includes John Tenniel's illustrations from the original book coloured and enlarged. The work is not merely a shortened and simplified version. It is written as though the story is being read aloud by someone who is also talking to the child listener, pointing out details in the pictures and asking questions. There are also additions, such as an anecdote about a puppy called Dash, and an explanation of the word "foxglove".

Alice has long since dismissed the memories of another world as whimsical childhood fictions. One muggy Sunday, she meets a familiar man with a notable hat who has been sent to retrieve her, and she can't help but let curiosity lead her down another rabbit hole. She tumbles into a world that's grown up, just as she has, and finds herself tangled in a web of politics, religion, and academia. --- Temporary image by a-little-bit-lexical on deviantart.
