After the Boravia incident, Superman is under fire. The media's tearing him apart, public opinion is split, and Clark Kent is desperately trying to hold it together while the world debates whether he's a hero or a threat. The Daily Planet is in chaos, everyone's got an opinion, and Clark's just trying to do his job-both of them.
Then Perry drops an assignment in his lap that feels like a lifeline and a nightmare all at once: an exclusive interview with Bruce Wayne, who's in Metropolis for... some vague reason that doesn't quite add up. Clark's heard the rumors about Gotham's vigilante, obviously, but he's got bigger problems right now. He needs this interview. He needs to focus on something that isn't the weight of the world questioning his every move.
Except Bruce Wayne isn't what he expected. He's sharp, calculating, and way too interested in Clark's opinions about Superman. The interview gets tense, philosophical, almost confrontational-and Clark can't shake the feeling that Bruce is studying him like he's a puzzle to solve. Or has already solved it.
