Now 3 years later they are sent on an impossible task with a werewolf, a human and a vampire. Keenoe has long since abandoned Shessia and disappeared. a secret society focused on killing all abnormalities and unwanteds in the mundane world. Shessia must find her family, look after the misfits and defeat the black hand. On top of being a high school girl. if not all magic and life will be destroyed.

Oaklyn Kalei was a normal 15 year old girl. Key word: was. After her parents died in an accident, her and her younger sister Wren have to live with their grandfather that they've never met before. But, the part that makes her normal life abnormal, is that in the library at her new home, there are journals that her past family members have written, and if that member of the family needed help at the time of writing, whether they were fighting a bad guy or needed help with gathering food, they wrote a certain passage, and those who were destined to help them, had to go back in time and help. So now, Oaklyn and Wren have to balance training, school, and time traveling diaries. All of that would be fine and dandy, except that there are other families that know of Oaklyn's families secret, and they want to use the journals for their own agenda. Also, because of one of those such families, she suspects that their parents accident might not have been much of an accident at all.

Who would've thought an unlikely friendship flourishes because of stomped flowers? Maybe turning into something more.
