Things only get more complicated when creatures, and people, from their fantasy world find their way into modern day America. And it gets worse when Jyri can't find Oliver. The darkness was both terrifying and serene, a stark contrast to the painful reality she'd been so desperate to escape. Then, without warning, she was engulfed by a fiery inferno, the heat licking at her skin, yet not burning her. The sensation was strange and oddly comforting, like a warm embrace from an unexpected source. The fire grew denser, its intensity increasing, until she was one with the flames. The fiery descent ended abruptly as she plunged into an endless ocean, the water cold and soothing against her skin. It washed over her, extinguishing the flames and leaving only her red hair floating around her face like a fiery corona. She felt weightless, her troubles momentarily forgotten in the vastness of the deep blue. But as she sank, the water grew darker, and she saw the shadow of something massive rising from the depths below-a castle, ruined and overgrown with vines, its spires jagged and menacing. She felt a strange pull towards it, an inexplicable sense of belonging. Her heart raced as she swam closer, the murky waters parting around her as if beckoning her in. Then, as she was about to touch the castle's ancient stones, a whisper echoed through the water-"Calypso... Is it really you?"

Set in post-apocalyptic Mediterranean, a group of young people from various European countries has to fight with both guns, wits and magic to stop the hordes of Hell from overtaking the body, as well as the soul, of humanity as a whole.

Kona is a young mermaid who has a thirst for adventure and exploring unknown areas despite the potential danger of being spotted by a human. The thrill of finding something new keeps her going and she never gives up the opportunity for an adventure. One day while exploring another shipwreck, she finds several mysterious objects and encounters the sea fairy Delphi who comes from another world called the Ocean Kingdom. Delphi tells her that the Kingdom was taken over and destroyed because a group of evil, corrupted sirens who have now turned their sights on conquering the human world as well. Delphi tells Kona that she is on a quest given to her by the prince of the Ocean Kingdom to find the legendary warriors known as the Precure as they are the only ones said to have the necessary power to not only protect the human world but to revive the Ocean Kingdom as well. Kona and three humans become the legendary warriors and join Delphi on her quest while discovering themselves and overcoming their own personal issues along the way.

What is love really? Love stories are usually all the same guy meets girl, for some reason the girl always has a horrid ex-boyfriend, and they fight then make up after two minutes. That's how it works right? In normal love stories? But for Jacqueline, normal is out of the picture. Her way to love was much different than any other cliche in the books, tv shows, and even movies. She goes through insane lengths just to have a shot at true love. She takes on a whole new persona although it's all her inner self she keeps hidden to be seen as her family's such high standards.

No one saw where he went that morning, and even scarier to Nikolai is the inhuman tracks in the forest leading to where his footsteps stop. Eventually, on her journey to find out what happened to her friend she meets Kit, a troubled teen boy with a chip on his shoulder. Kit decides to help her out of the "goodness of his heart". Will Nikolai ever end up finding Zane? Or will Kit's life keep getting in the way..?
