Five years later, after two confessions from friends with two very different results, one forced outing, one failed relationship and an escape from an abusive household Nickolas is finally free. What's more his not a small town boy anymore, he living in LA far away from his old life. Nickolas isn't sure about much right now but he knows one thing. He's done hiding.

Ken realizes after playing around for years, she has fallen in love with her best friend, who, apparently, has a boyfriend. This is set in a time where he is pre-everything (and transitions throughout the book) and learns how it is to be in a Polyamourous relationship while he is still focused on college, art, and most importantly- his transition.
