Her. She is the first girl that stole your breath and broke your heart. She is the girl at the bookstore humming to herself in the aisles. She is the girl who inked poetry into the margines of her notebooks. She is each girl you fall for, each girl who gives you a coy smile, each beautiful woman that makes your heart stutter and palms sweat. She is in the sway of the ocean, the pull of the moon. Her.

18 year old Jackson Smith views college as a means of escape. The only child of two verbally abusive and transphobic parents, their only hope of being themself is by distancing themself from their parents. Cutting off contact with their parents shortly after moving into their dorm, their actions have unforseen consequences. Will Jackson's parents ever seek help for their own issues and try to accept Jackson for who they are, or was their family destined to fall apart? "The Art of Falling Apart" tells a fictonal tale of an all too familiar story for some transgender and nonbinary youth via emotional poetry. Written by nonbinary author James Doe.

Dating all the way back to the 600s BC, violets have been used as a symbol of lesbian love. The Greek poet Sappho, best known for her lyric poems about love and women, described herself and a lover wearing garlands of violets. In honor of Sappho, lesbian women in the mid-20th century would give violets to women they were wooing, indicating their 'Sapphic desire'. These are my poems about celebrating women, sapphics, and wlw. I hope you enjoy.

This poetry and prose collection is for all those who have ever felt repressed, restricted to be themselves by any form of entity or, even, by their own selves. This is for all those who once, twice, or have ever felt broken and the courage it took to admit it and move forward. I hope this collection relates to you in your darkest moments and lead you out to rays of hope. Here's a sneak peek: "I just wanna tear you out, dispose of you. Never see you again. You tear-jerker." ---Untitled 1 "The piano playing and the singing at long last enters a halt, during the prayer I am not thankful. I ask: when? When will I be set free?" ---When? Some of the material may be sensitive to some readers; so, reader discretion is highly advised. I hope you enjoy them and if you do, please vote and share with others! I'll hopefully be uploading new material once a week. Thank you and happy reading!
