Because at Meadowsville High, a pair of metaphorical handcuffs encircle their wrists, a haunting memory of their pasts. Warning: sexual themes, mentions of abuse, alcohol, drugs, selfharm, sleep disorders, eating disorders, and panic attacks. The characters will cry more than most do on Wattpad, they will hit rock bottom, they will break down, and they will feel like they're suffocating. When he heard Kenji's content sigh at the subtle safety net Meena clutched at - unaware that's why he hugged him closer - it dawned on him that he was fucked. Meena couldn't lie to himself anymore. He truly fell for the sassy blonde, and as scared as he was, he was relieved almost at the confession.
