Suitable for ages 14+ Barb has long held feelings for her good friend Greta but Greta can't get over her feelings for her possibly deceased husband. Then The Stranger meanders into their small mountain town of Baylor. Everything starts to change and no one even realizes it's The Stranger causing such oddities to occur. Barb and Greta are about to confront their feelings for each other. Harold and Seth will have to take a better look at the details of their long-held argument. And Evie will have to choose a suitor; the dashing Bill or kind-hearted Mike. The Stranger moves into town like a quiet shadow, and when he leaves no one will ever be the same.

A love story between a gay interracial couple who finally met after dating on the internet for months.

"It was something different that I didn't know if I was supposed to feel, but I couldn't help it... I'd felt next to nothing for so long. In the end we were all just humans. I just needed the right time and place to feel free... and this was it." A young woman is shocked to find that there is more to life than the box she's ended up putting herself in; boyfriend, school work, complacency. One night she meets a confident girl who has everything she's missing and a light ignites inside of her as bright as magnesium. A short story of self discovery.

These are 26 short stories about 26 different men that I have had some form of intimate relationship with throughout my life. These stories are all based on true events. All the images placed within the stories and on the book covers are also mine unless stated. The names and some of the situations have been altered slightly to maintain anonymity but the stories all stem from my reality. They took place in different parts of the world and at different stages of my life between 18 - 30. And although the stories are about intimacy and romance, there are also some ugly parts that very much reflect the nuanced aspects of gay relationships. I wanted to share these chapters of my life because for the longest time, I felt like I was navigating all of this on my own and felt like no one would ever understand me. However, I came to realize that there are many other queer men out there that could relate to these experiences. My hope is that by sharing my stories, it will make others feel comfortable enough to share their stories and thereby enriching the anthology of gay literature that we so desperately need. We often hear about the male and female gaze, which always struck me as pushing heteronormativity, so I want to explore the gay gaze damn it!

John's husband, Gary, wanted to get out of the city. He wanted to be a homeowner, to live the good life in the countryside, away from the hustle and bustle, and somehow, he talked John into it. For Gary, everything is perfect. For John, not so much. And things go from bad to worse when, one morning, John is awoken by sounds in the driveway. Why did the neighbours warn him about strange things happening in the mountains? Who left him a note telling him not to make noise at night? And who, or what, is moving around in the garden when the sun goes down? This short story was inspired by the horror stories the author has read about the Appalachian mountains, and by the existential dread of modern life. Hope you enjoy!
