Their management was able to catch on that night. It led to a big argument, but ultimately they had a choice to make. The four boys (Zayn, Liam, Louis, and Niall) had to pick which would be best for their lover Harry. Either the four boys go through some camp to "take care" of this situation. Or Harry will be bashed all over the internet and kicked from the band. They had to think about this and they knew that they had to do all that it took to protect their boyfriend. Which led them to go with the first option. Which was the bad choice to make. Because even though they were trying their hardest to protect Harry. All that they did at the end was hurt him.
