The story begins in august of 1993, Monroe Green cannot seem to find any single reason to want to be around anymore, even with the support from his best friend Tessa. Jude Abraham, a senior in high school who cant go through the day without a joint and has family pressures on him to get a football scholarship because without...well he doesnt have a chance. Angie Vera, a latino girl in a town of white people who smokes 3 packs a day and cant tell anyone the truth of what really happend to her that night. This story includes selfharm, drug addiction, eating disorders, suicide, abuse, rasicm and other important issues that most teenagers struggle with today. If any of this is triggering then i recommend not reading. I wrote this to shead light, so hopefull we all get a chance someday. Happy reading! This is a short collection of my political poems. I will be very clear up front; I am a liberal American who is terrified about the current state of the U.S. Most of these poems ooze with contempt and fear, as I wrote these to cope with my emotions. Warning- there are a lot of Christian themes in here, and some things that may seem like Christian hate. I have nothing against Christianity. I am against Christian Nationalism and MAGA Christians, because they are not real Christians, and simply use their religion to justify hate.

Since my other book has been temporary deleted due to a glitch in Wattpad's system (or, at least, that's what the ambassadors tell me), I've taken it upon myself to write a new book less than half way through the completion of my other one, hence the name. Hope this glitch gets fixed soon!

There's really nobody left on the internet willing to defend leftist politics, so here I am! The title that this book is named after is the purple revolution. The Purple Revolution is a hypothetical idea by yours truly, where we sort of start giving a shit again. Yeah, the flag on the cover? That's what the purple flag is supposed to represent. The Red is supposed to be social democracy (the same color as socialism just to be edgy), and the purple is giving a shit again. And really that's the center of my politics. Something bad happens to somebody else? Care, even if you don't have to.
