One secret is the biggest yet. One that nobody saw coming. **** Something was wrong. Clay looked into his mother's eyes and saw fear. She was good at hiding it usually, but something had put the fear of god in her. "It's Deputy Standall," was all Lainie uttered as she thrust the phone into Clay's hand. He looked at the phone and looked back at his mother as he slowly put the receiver up to his ear. "Hello..?" Clay began. "Clay? ....uh... Hello again Clay, it's uh...- it's Deputy Standall. We'd like you to come down the station to talk with us if you would." "Has someone else died?" Clay joked, but immediately questioned his comedic ability after seeing the look his mother gave him. "Uh.....- quite uh...- quite the opposite actually." There was a pause and silence befell the line. "Deputy?" Clay looked to his mother for answers, but Lainie was looking at the floor, knowing Deputy Standall was about to relay the same news to Clay as he had minutes before to herself. The Deputy sighed and the phone line crackled. "We have reason to believe that Hannah Baker is still alive."

It's a freshman year - and everyone bonds. Very soon, it's sophomore year - and drama picks up. Junior year. Damn, time flies, and SATs are coming closer.... Senior year? Well, maybe people fall in love... But many don't. Yet still, love finds her way.
