Given that Zanli had given up writing the story due to burnout, I figured that I would pick up where he left off. Disclaimer: RWBY is owned by Hitotsubashi Group. Limbus Company and its prequels are owned by Project Moon. Second Disclaimer: The chapters prior to Zanli's announcement of discontinuing the original story will be carried over to this one, the exceptions being said announcement and the subsequent request for someone to continue it. I came back from the mission. Can't say it was difficult, because it wasn't. Some Nest guy got robbed and lost a giant metallic suitcase. That made things easy: just walk around the Backstreets and check who's dumb enough to be hauling around a shiny box like that. Turns out, it was some no-name Syndicate. I rarely kill. Only when someone's too far gone upstairs. These guys? Just street rats. Took the suitcase right out of their hands. No blood. Just like an average Fixer would do. Another mission down. One more notch to raise Gray Hand Solutions' rep. I can already smell the Ahn coming in.

It revolves around the employees of a small fixer office (fixers essentially being the hired mercenaries of the City), as, while going about their day-to-day business, they find themselves getting wrapped up in something far bigger than themselves. The plot is a mix of a few genres, including drama, action, and perhaps a small amount of slice of life and comedy. It is technically speaking a fanfiction, as it was inspired by some concepts from the game trilogy Lobotomy Corporation, Library of Ruina, and Limbus Company by Project Moon. Though, considering the cast is essentially 100% original, it is almost a standalone story in its own right. (Written by Rotzka and Vergil)

In the backstreets of the city, an incident occurs unlike anything ever before seen. It wasn't like a distortion of E.G.O., and renowned offices and fixers from all came over to attempt and solve the case. It was, however, to no avail. A week after the incident, the overseeing association of all things Fixer-related, the Hana Association, sends a dispatch of 3 junior agents to investigate what's really happening and put to rest the opportunistic local offices looking for fame. This has also been posted on Ao3 (https://archiveofourown.org/works/67752366/chapters/175160581) What they discover inside leads them, not to truth, but to an abyss of question. And it leads them, not to a safe promotion in their new-found occupation, but on a quest with an eccentric professor-emeritus to uncover the meanings of the enigmatic Self.
