"6,000 Guys like you", the 8th volume in my series The Right People, centers on the planning and execution of a staged hijacking to secure of the escape from Germany of the surviving Palestinian perpetrators of the Munich Olympic Games attack ahead of the 1972 federal elections. To accomplish this, Tom and his friends travel to Syria, Libya and Egypt, where they negotiate with representatives the Libyan government and the Palestinians over the terms of the prisoners' release. Back in Germany, at the German Ministry of Defense on the Hardthöhe in Bonn, they witness the dramatic events during and immediately after the hijacking of the Lufthansa Boeing 727 Kiel. Along the way, two of Tom's friends, Hamit and Phil, encounter a pair of street musicians in Ireland who prove to be IRA couriers, as well as an ambitious figure determined to become the world's largest hashish dealer. The months portrayed in this volume are marked by tension, intrigue, and escalating stakes. Although the novel is grounded in extensive research into the historical context, it is a work of fiction. All characters, including public officials mentioned, as well as the events depicted, are entirely fictional. New chapters are published every Friday. Just remember one thing, whenever you read headlines by the mass media and you see they are only writing one side of the story, assisting one voice... it's an agenda. It could succeed, but it can also fail. The poor man suffers, while the rich man thrives... but this is just temporary. At the end of the day it's by the greedy, for the greedy....

The adventurous journey continues. After Dave suddenly finds himself blackmailed by the IRA, Tom and Martin travel to London to help him solve the problem. In the process they get to know other "right people", the German TV cameramen Hans and Reiner and the musicians of the reggae band "The Uptones". In the course of the year, Tom and Martin travel to Northern Ireland, where they meet Barry Madden, the head of finance of the IRA, who turns out to be a "very nice murderer". They meet a similarly "nice murderer", namely the Libyan head of state, Col. Gaddafi, when they accompany Madden on a secret trip to Libya, where he strikes an "arms for information" deal. Gaddafi offers generous financial support to the Greek resistance organization in return for information from the NATO base at Souda Bay on Crete, from where he fears an attack on his country. But in Greece, too, there are further adventures to be had. For example Philipos, the youngest, cheekiest and most precocious member of the group, on a mission that the group is carrying out in Kastoria in northern Greece, finds himself in a cellar with 100 skulls and a zombie, which is a big, albeit embarrassing, step on his path to adulthood. Time and again Tom and his friends get into unpredictable, dangerous situations, which they survive because the members of their group now understand each other other blindly, become braver each time and learn from their mistakes. Of course there are news about the love triangle of Tom - Sophia - Nikos, and love affairs also emerge among the other members of the resistance group. As I said - the journey continues, more adventurous, more dangerous, more exciting. This is a work of fiction, although I thoroughly researched the historical facts.
