It was during one such excursions she encountered a catalyst for change in her life - not her first one, mind you - as she found an abandon dragon egg. After hatching the egg and returning to the school, she now found herself with the responsibility of caring for the newly hatched dragon. Surely, it couldn't be too much trouble?
