As she delves deeper into figuring out about the long thought abandoned order of Saint Patrick, she finds out more than what she's bargained for...a secret that leads straight to Buckingham Palace itself.

This is my version of the death of Rudy Steiner in 'The Book Thief'. (You do not need to read 'The Book Thief' before you read this.) BTW this is a story that takes place in Germany during the second world war.

When They Had Time and Were Playing Fuseball Outside of The School, A Student Came Up To Liesel and Started Making Fun of Her Reading Skills and Abilities, Causing Liesel To Deck The Student So Hard She Break His Nose! Rudy Is Playing With His Friends When He Notices Her Getting Picked On and Getting Into A Big Brawl With A Student. Rudy Came Up To Try and Stop Liesel From Killing The Student When A Student Came Behind Rudy and Pushed Him Down, Beating Him In The Head Several Painful Times Until Rudy Couldn't Move. When Liesel Saw This, She Sprang Into Action, Tackling The Boy Down To The Ground, Punching Him In The Face Several Times Until Blood Poured Out of His Nose! Rudy Was Really Hurt And Couldn't Move A Muscle With His Ears Also Ringing and Was Going Unconscious! Liesel Helped The Boy and They Developed a Great Friendship and Love With Each Other.

Hey welcome to my mad last minute attempts on writing an assignment that's due tomorrow. We had to write a diary entry from the point of view of a minor character and I chose the LSE man that helped her through coping with the bombing. I hope you enjoy, I procrastinated writing this for the week we had to complete it and came out with this in a few hours.

Three children stumble upon the wreckage of a bombing site. They, in their youth and eager hearts, try to seek a body in the ruins. They find humour in the aspect of creating another story of their history, but do not know how much danger they are truly putting themselves in. (This short story is a work of fiction)

Shadows of Fear and Hope is a historical fiction short story that follows Liesel, an eighteen-year-old girl struggling to survive in Nazi-occupied territory. Fear rules her world-fear of the soldiers marching through her town, fear of the whispers of betrayal, and fear of the consequences of defiance. But when she reunites with Elias, a former classmate marked by the yellow star, she is forced to choose to remain silent and safe or risk everything to help someone in need. In a time when kindness is punished and survival demands silence, Liesel must decide if she will let fear define her or fight for hope.

So I wrote this for my English creative task on the book thief so I would read the book thief before this. But this is basically Max's point of view trying to find liesel at the end of the book and finding her like you read in the chapter 'max' I hope you enjoy!!
