Hi, I'm Ciara - I write about motion, memory, and healing. "These are the pieces of me that never made it into conversations." Notes on Life & Movement is a series of reflections told through journal-style prose and poetry - tracing survival, softness, and self-discovery. Each volume explores a different part of healing: the heart, the past, and the quiet moments in between. If you've ever felt unseen but kept going anyway, you'll find yourself in these pages. 🚫 Copyright Notice: This story and all related entries belong to Ciara Miles. This is the journal I write in when life feels quiet on the outside but loud on the inside. The place where love gets messy, calm gets interrupted, and I learn who I am in the moments between the two. These entries aren't polished. They're raw, unfiltered, and written from the space between wanting peace and chasing fire. If you've ever loved someone you shouldn't, waited for someone who didn't show up, or felt yourself slipping in and out of chaos - this is for you.

Tired of caring too damn much? Sick of people, problems, and that one dumbass who texts "you up?" at 3AM like they ain't got a job? Good. This book is for you. Welcome to the most unfiltered, chaotic, absolutely unprofessional life guide ever written by a walking lightning strike with anger issues and zero patience - Riku Voltflare. ⸻ Inside this masterpiece of pure nonsense and accidental wisdom, Riku teaches you: • How to stop giving a f*** (without becoming a complete idiot... okay maybe a little) • When to care, when to walk away, and when to just stare at someone like they're stupid • How to survive drama, fake friends, and people who talk too damn much • And most importantly... how to protect your peace, waffles, and sanity ⸻ But he ain't alone. You've got: Fid - laughing at EVERYTHING like life is one big joke - falling off chairs, wheezing, crying, clapping like a gremlin - absolutely no help whatsoever And then there's... BYD - pulling up with the most unnecessarily complicated vocabulary known to mankind "What you are experiencing is a psychological manifestation of existential indifference-" Riku: "BYD what the F*** did you just say?" Fid: on the floor dying laughing ⸻ This book is basically: Chaos 🤝 Wisdom 🤝 "Who let him write this?" It's part life advice, part roast session, part emotional damage recovery guide... and part "Riku losing his mind in real time." ⸻ WARNING: This book contains: • Aggressive honesty • Offensive levels of sarcasm • Unqualified advice that somehow still works • And a panda that will laugh at your problems before helping you ⸻ If you've ever said: "I don't give a f*** anymore" ...but still lowkey did... This book is about to fix that. Or make it worse. Either way, you're gonna laugh your ass off.

Benjamin Graham gave the concept of the margin of safety. He wrote about it extensively with mathematical details. But you know the best part of the concept came in an interview when he said, "The purpose of the margin of safety is to render the forecast unnecessary."

In a world more connected than ever, why do so many of us feel alone? Why We Crave Connection in a Digital Age explores the paradox of modern life: hundreds of online "friends," countless messages, endless notifications-yet a persistent sense of emptiness and disconnection. Authors Raymond Sonajo and Francine Ysabelle Castro-Sonajo delve into the science, psychology, and lived experience behind this digital dilemma. They examine why real connection feels rare online, how social media can amplify loneliness, and what it takes to cultivate genuine bonds in an era dominated by screens. Drawing on research, personal stories, and practical strategies, they offer insight into how we can reclaim intimacy, presence, and empathy in our relationships. This book goes beyond theory, providing readers with actionable guidance for creating meaningful interactions: from nurturing face-to-face connections to approaching online communication with mindfulness and authenticity. It challenges the notion that being "always connected" equates to being truly connected, inviting readers to pause, reflect, and reorient their relationships toward depth rather than breadth. Perfect for anyone feeling the quiet ache of isolation, overwhelmed by digital noise, or longing for authentic human contact, Why We Crave Connection in a Digital Age is a timely, compassionate guide to building relationships that matter. Raymond and Francine's combined perspectives-as researchers, observers, and partners navigating the digital world themselves-illuminate the path toward connection, reminding us that even in an online era, intimacy, understanding, and belonging are still within our reach.

I find it easier to write about the things that are hard to talk about. I conquered the inability to sustain a consistent character that does not depend on anyone to make me happy. This book is for anyone going through an emotional rollercoaster, anxiety, insecurity, loneliness, fear, low self-esteem, heartbreak etc.

Lonesome poems are the best thing to find hope and freedom. It is where we can truly express our untold feelings. People might look up to you and see how perfect your life can be, the happy family you have, and that they think your only problem is not having one at all. But truth be told, behind those glimmering things, bright smiles, and fancy stuff lies a despondent individual who seeks help and consolation. As the famous saying goes, "You will never know the struggle of a person unless you walk into their shoes" and with that said, never compare yourself to the person you think has it all. It is okay to fall back, let out a cry, and have a breakdown. We are all human and that what you are feeling right now is valid. No one can invalidate someone's feelings for we have different phases, strengths, and weaknesses. Remember: You are a WARRIOR on your battlefield so continue to fight. Who knows, tomorrow we might finally see the rainbow we all have been looking for. These poems I have are the product of my lowest points in life. I hope I can give you all a hug and a console. 🥺
