The airplane Professor Ray Wilms was in just exploded. Somehow he survived the fireball and tons of burning metal as it blew away into the night air over San Diego, California. He has no idea how he's still conscious. He's strapped to his seat and hurtling straight for the Pacific Ocean thousands of feet below. Astonishingly, he's not frightened. As the ocean rises to smash him dead, a vision of the angel who was sent to save him engulfs him. It's a vision of the past, of their meeting for the first time, but seen from over the angel's shoulder. Dr. Wilms was once an unyielding skeptic and atheist. As the final seconds of his life tick away, he wonders: What am I now? As he gives over to the vision and follows the angel around, he must decide before the dark sea claims him.

Assalaamu Allaikum, Hope you are all doing well I just wanted to say this book is simply a little reminder to all of us (myself included) sometimes I will post and inspirational quote, facts, or story's about some of the companions of the prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and in-sha-Allah more. Also please I am a human being so I'm bound to make mistakes , so please if you see a mistake don't judge me and just talk to me privately . Jazakallah Khairan for taking your time to read and I hope we all benefit from this. May Allah help us each and every single day of lives not only in this world but the hereafter as well (Ameen) And last but not least I know I'm rambling (sorry) but if you could do me a favour and like, vote and share this because if you have knowledge and share it with other you well get a reward from Allah (SWT) in return.

"Death, quite literally, was staring me in the face." I lay in the hospital bed. The doctors were in a frenzy as they tried to keep me alive. A couple merely stood towards the side holding clipboards, jotting down my final moments. I struggled to breathe. "She's going. We're losing her." My vision was becoming more and more hazy. I knew I was dying. I wanted to fight the unconsciousness descending upon me. I wanted to hold on. Memories surged before me. . . . In the corner of my vision, I saw a figure. As I turned my attention to it, the world around me seemed to fade all the more. I turned away, trying to find my parents among the blurs. Yet everything was muddled now. The figure came closer. I realised what I was seeing was the Grim Reaper. He had come to take my soul. I braced myself for his scythe to strike. . . .

Isn't this the question most ask after losing a loved one? Are they in Heaven or Hell or stuck in between? Do they remain the same as they did when they where living, breathing and well? Or did they take on the appearance of their injuries? Are they looking down at us and watching the end of our lives play out? Do they replay their own lives and point out their mistakes to others all the while laughing and joking? Do they stop others from making the same mistakes they did in their prime? Do they miss us? Do they remember us? Do they regret leaving us? Are they still the same? Are they happy or sad? We may never know. Until now....

I do not claim to know everything about God. In fact, the older I get, the less certain I become about many things. What I do know is that the questions never stopped. Questions about faith. Questions about suffering. Questions about love. Questions about what kind of God could create a world as beautiful and broken as this one. In Seeking God, Sheldon Stodder shares personal reflections on spirituality, religion, doubt, forgiveness, fatherhood, and the lifelong search for meaning. Written with honesty and humility, these essays are not an attempt to tell readers what to believe. They are an invitation to think, question, and explore. For anyone who has ever wrestled with faith, wondered about God, or searched for truth beyond certainty, this book is an open conversation about the questions that matter most.

"Um, hello. I'm Adrian Dimee." I say, looking up at the three giant men staring me down. "Tell us a little about you, Mr. Dimee." One booms, rubbing his white beard that dangled from his chin. I shrug. "I'm bad at math, I love to draw... hmm what else..." I wonder for a second. "Also I'm dead." ---
