Based off the movie Life As We Know It. It's a Harry Potter AU. Ever since Lily Evans decided to date, and eventually marry, James Potter, her best friend had to deal with us. It was no secret that Sirius Black and James Potter might as well have been brothers. Likewise, Lily Evans and Elizabeth Parker were as close as sisters. Lizzie and Sirius have dealt with each other, after hating each other for six years, for the sake of their friends. They were named the godparents of the Potter's first and dearest child, Harry James Potter. On the terrible Halloween night that James and Lily Potter were killed, Harry was left an orphan. Until the Potter's lawyers inform their two best friends that they were the ones that James and Lily wanted to care of Harry if Voldemort killed them. Now Lizzie and Sirius have to overcome their dislike for each other to fulfill the last wishes of the most important people of their lives. Obviously in this AU Peter is known to be the secret keeper and sent to Azkaban instead of Sirius. I haven't decided yet if, in a sequel, Voldemort will return.

Sorry but this book will not be finished anytime soon. I am not really liking it and it is boring sooooooo yeah. I suggest reading the life as we knew it series by Susan Pffefer if you like this type of book though.
