Lifebegins storie

"How to be young again?" she asked at forty, as she stumbled upon a group of young ones--laughing, teasing, and sharing silly moments--and a pair of hearts tangled in young love. The truth is, she never asked for much. Little peace. Good coffee. A life good enough to breathe. These things keep her daily life going. This is just a book of poetry. The things I feel, see, and sometimes what I'm to afraid to say.

Life was given to us The moment we took our first breath- Our names chosen before we could speak, Before we even knew who we were. We learned to walk, To talk, To shout until our voices gave in- All in the name of joy. We built friendships, Fell into love, Formed bonds that sometimes lasted- But for people like me, They mostly didn't.

I love him, hate him, he makes me happy, but also sad. I see the sadness when he leaves and the happiness when he returns. I've felt his pain, but I still support him. Though I have to share him. I still call him "My Marine". He earned the title and now he gets to keep it ,with me by his side supporting him through it all. He's mine and that will never change, because absence only makes the heart grow fonder.
