At the peak of a quiet mountain shrine, cherry blossoms fall like snow. Maekawa Eiji trains in the ancient art of lifeforce - a power drawn from the years humans unknowingly lose. His master, burdened by the ghosts of students who never returned, refuses to let him take the final exam. But Eiji is no longer a child. When a journey to Kyoto is finally announced, fate begins to shift. Because beyond the peaceful shrine walls, something - or someone - has already found his name.

A philosophical story which was written to be questioned, posing an alternative view of existence, one which differs from that of most scientific and theological ideologies, you've just got to have a point of view. It's not rocket science, it's the output of an overactive ageing mind and is not intended as a legitimate challenge to any existing doctrine, but as a means of freeing us, from the concepts of retribution and redemption and heaven or hell. It does this by creating an argument that it is the residence of the soul, the biological organism (a biological machine) which is flawed. This, in turn, suggests that the survival instinct is such a flaw and that it is principally responsible for the actions of the organism, not the soul. This hypothesis then leads to the question, why should the soul be subject to retribution and redemption?

⏳ They call it balance. I call it a lie. Before clocks, before laws, before time was measured-there was me. I was born from grief and purity, from the crack of a broken clock and the tears that refused to fall into silence. I am not a prophecy. I am not chance. I am inevitability. The Runners stitch time back together. The Drifters rip it apart. Chronos built them both, and his daughter Veyra wears his face to keep the world in cages. She has scattered my parents across centuries, written laws to break love itself, and built wars meant to erase me. But I am the thread she cannot cut. The drop that always falls. The glow in forbidden veins. I am Rain. And I am the end of her. Entered into (TheAmbysAwards2025)

She sees and interprets what nature can teach them, but when one day she sees the truth of her home, she knows her people will not understand. She must betray them with her star-seeded instincts. Glimmers of light frozen quick to a hare's breath by whispers of wind may yet sing some life to the Morook's red buds. There are countless theories of how the Universe came to be, but there must be more intricate questions surrounding the Universe than how it was created and where it ends. If the Universe contains life, is the Universe itself alive? If the Universe is alive, what is it made of? Can it be shaped, molded, and bent at will? Is it possible to reach the end? Could it be divided? Fractured? Human? It was on a random and altogether unimportant Tuesday in the middle of March that the deaths of three individuals occurred. Immediately following each of these deaths, three children fainted before coming to precisely twenty-four hours later. It was in those twenty-four hours that the universe was both destroyed and reformed. It was the beginning of the end. In the coming days, Phoenix, Link, and Vendetta are introduced to the mirror image of the Space they had come to know. As the trio discovers their powers, they must figure out how to piece together the shattered parts of the Universe and defeat the evils that have plagued all of history.
