Chapter One throws you straight into chaos. The streets are alive with desperate energy, every corner filled with people ready to fight, flee, or survive. Cars screech, pavement cracks, and the air is thick with tension, smoke, and the smell of survival. Amidst it all, I roll in like an angel untouched by the madness, scanning, laughing, and trying to navigate this festival of chaos without losing myself. This isn't fiction-it's real-life street apocalypse, raw and unapologetic.

Kyla was born a stray in a big city. She is now 1 years old and has to go through many tough times to stay alive. The hardest thing about being a stray is you have to stay away from danger. Kyla finds herself in many disastrous situations such as other nasty group of dogs in the city, the dog catcher, and finding food for survival. Though Kyla thinks she's not safe from anyone she ends up meeting these other group of dogs who may change her way of thinking. She must now try to convince herself that she's safe, but it's not that easy. Though for some reason Kyla finds herself feeling safer with this one dog. Find out more in the story. :)

So this story is about two girls who ran away from home when they were young. Equally, they both dwell on their past and how it could've changed. But they think if they lost their past, the future would fade away. They live with a 17 year old girl and her parents. And face the struggles growing up in a place they never thought they could never call home.
