This story is the story of 10th grader Marshal Smith. He isn't very popular, he isn't unpopular, he's just ... average. All though most people live an average life this idea scares him. Ever since he knew death was even possible he had this fear of dying without making an impact on the world, living the life of a useless bag of flesh, and dying a useless bag of flesh. Because of this fear marshal has wasted so many years of his life on the sidelines contemplating existence. The only thing that gives him hope about his future is his musical abilities, love for guitar, and friends. but even that wasn't enough sometimes. This is a honest story what goes through ones mind as they fight their demons and reach for their dreams. Even if it takes a little push in the right direction.

This is a book for my aunt Linda who recently committed suicide because she didn't think she belonged in this world. She had troubles with money and was too proud to ask for help. I hope that all of you who are reading this will never get to the point of suicide. There is always someone there for you. You are never alone. And don't ever get the thought that the world is a horrible place with you in it, because it's an even worse place without you. I would know. My family is going through very tough times right now and I would never want any other family to have to experience this. If you've experienced anything like this, please share your story in the comments. I'm sure you wouldn't mind knowing that other people are going through the same thing.
